This is a very brief list of the Major Arcana definitions.  A few things to keep in mind when doing a reading either for yourself or someone else is when a Major Arcana card comes up this means the message is very important and that the person seeking answers is going through a karmic phase.  The situation that is taking place or about to take place is meant for their soul growth. 

 What about reversed tarot meanings?  There's great debate on this one subject alone, but in my many years of experience a reversed card simply means that the person keeps repeating the same mistakes, is not learning from their mistakes, or is simply not paying attention.  Reversed tarot cards say, "Look at this!  It's really important!"

Although many believers in tarot say a Major Arcana path cannot or should not be changed, forewarned is forearmed!  By knowing what's coming up you have a much better chance of learning from the lessons and using them to your advantage.  In doing so, you won't have to repeat the same karmic lesson in the future--of this life or the next!

7 Chariot: Strength of will, finding direction, forward movement, staying on the straight and narrow, keeping things in line, transportation, vacation

9 Hermit: Self-knowledge, a mentor, leader or teacher, going on a vision quest, joining the world after some down time, an older person, overcoming shyness

10 Wheel: What goes up must come down, going with the flow, taking a chance, changes out of your control, cycles

11 Justice: Karma, balance, fairness, legal issues, weighing both sides before making a decision

12 Hanged Man: Seeing things from a different perspective, seeking spirituality, dark night of the soul, stagnation due to yourself, things on hold

13 Death: Total transformation, rebirth, death of old life or old self, need for complete change
